Pederson Vaginal Speculum, characterized by a narrower blade, is a double-bladed instrument with a screw mechanism to keep the blades open once inserted into the vaginal canal. This self-retaining speculum is designed to aid in the visualization of the vaginal canal for gynecological diagnostic and/or procedural purposes. It has smooth duck-shaped jaws with blunt tips to protect adjacent tissue. Our line of Pederson Vaginal Specula is available in various sizes of blades to accommodate a wide range of cases.
